Confederations

Format

Albums have been separated into 5 "Confederations", in groups of three albums in chronological order, and then into qualification groups within each confederation.

Each confederation is granted a certain number of songs that will advance to the final tournament in November. The number of teams advancing from each confederation is based on the relative "strength" of that part of the catalogue. This relative strength has been subjectively gauged by the Seaside Pod Review hosts based on Twitter polls from the SPR podcast, album/single performance, and perceived strength of support within the Queen fandom.

Songs will go head to head against each other in their group and are voted on by you on this website. You will be allowed to vote once per matchup and will be asked to confirm your votes by email.

Tie-Breaker Rules

When two teams are tied for points in a group, the following tie-breakers are applied:

1. Voting Difference (VD) ; the difference between total votes for and total votes against the song
2. Votes For (VF) : the total votes for the song
3. Percentage of "Champion" votes in the podcast Twitter polls
4. Number of total streams on Spotify
