The Millionaire Waltz v Somebody To Love

The first QWC semi-final saw log-time dark horse The Millionaire Waltz clash with top seed Somebody To Love. Despite bringing out the charge of the love brigade, The Millionaire Waltz fell at the penultimate hurdle, as Somebody To Love again showed it’s pedigree with the bookies’ favourite triumphing 77-21.

The Show Must Go On v Bohemian Rhapsody

The second QWC semi-final had the potential for a dramatic showdown as The Show Must Go On looked to outshine Bohemian Rhapsody – a melancholy, mortal stage show taking on cod opera. Despite much love and plaudits for the May-Mercury collaboration, it was Bohemian Rhapsody which took the final encore via a 59-37 win.

And so we know our finalists…possibly predictably, the top two seeds Somebody To Love and Bohemian Rhapsody will battle it out to be inaugural QWC Winner on Thursday 19 December.

But prior to the final we have an intriguing 3^rd/4^th playoff on Wednesday 18 December as The Millionaire Waltz (4^th seed) takes on The Show Must Go On (21^st seed).
