Save Me predictably consolidated it’s spot at the top of JGF Group E via an easy win over terminal Don’t Try Suicide (88-5), leaving Let Me Entertain You to edge into second spot by defeating Leaving Home Ain’t Easy (70-23). Despite table appearances, this group looks done and dusted.

Jazz/Game/Flash – Group D

Undisputed champ Another One Bites The Dust sunk Sail Away Sweet Sister (69-24), but SASS will still surely cross the Jordan to the Promised Land of QWC Finals? Meantime, Coming Soon qualification hopes look set for a premature finish as it loses out 33-60 to Jazz’s Jealousy.

Miracle/Innuendo/Made In Heaven – Group A

A full fixture list saw Innuendo and The Invisible Man sitting pretty with maximum points via wins over I Can’t Live With You (90-3) and Party (80-13) respectively. Ride The Wild Wind blows hard but looks like an also-ran despite beating My Life Has Been Saved (63-30).

Miracle/Innuendo/Made In Heaven – Group B

The Show Must Go On typically continues to star at the top of MIM Group B, having given My Baby Does Me a total doing (92-1). However, there’s real competition for the second playoff spot with Let Me Live (77-16 win over Khashoggi’s Ship…typo?) and Scandal (crucial 52-41win over Made In Heaven) neck and neck.

Miracle/Innuendo/Made In Heaven – Group C

Breakthru tops MIM Group C with an almighty 89-4 win over All God’s People. The second playoff spot is very much in a state of flux with each of Mother Love (feline-fine with a 82-11win over Delilah), Headlong and Too Much Love Will Kill You (47-46 last minute win for Headlong) all in the mix.

Miracle/Innuendo/Made In Heaven – Group D

I Want It All drew alongside Was It All Worth It at the top of MIM Group D by dampening It's A Beautiful Day’s outlook (81-9). Meantime Heaven For Everyone got off the mark by taking out The Hitman (64-26)

Miracle/Innuendo/Made In Heaven – Group E

I’m Going Slightly Mad won the top of the table clash with I Was Born To Love You (60-30), but A Winter’s Tale may still change the narrative, as it picked up a 77-13 win over Rain Must Fall.

Miracle/Innuendo/Made In Heaven – Group F

The Miracle tops MIM Group F (beating You Don’t Fool Me 63-27), but it surely only an event that is inexplicable by natural or scientific laws and accordingly gets attributed to some supernatural or praeternatural cause can stop These Are The Days Of Our Lives?

One/Two/SHA – Group A

Amazingly it’s taken until Match Day Three for Keep Yourself Alive to pick up it’s first points (71-14 against In The Lap Of The Gods) – as it began being forgotten by QWC voters! Conversely, White Queen (As It Began) dispatches that pesky Leroy Brown (55-30) is flying high alongside Fairy Feller’s Master Stroke.

One/Two/SHA – Group B

The March Of The Black Queen stomped all over Some Day One Day (80-5) to top OTS Group B, yet In The Lap Of The Gods…Revisited managed to keep pace by defeating Funny How Love Is (81-4). But with just one round left surely only divine intervention can stop TMOTBQ from securing QWC automatic qualification?

One/Two/SHA – Group C

By beating Tenement Funster (70-15), Killer Queen can almost crack open the Moet et Chandon having all but secured QWC Finals qualification. Father To Son is doing alright though (52-33 win over Doing All Right) and could still overcome Ogre Battle in an epic final group qualifier.

One/Two/SHA – Group D

Liar remained true in top spot via regicide (50-35 against My Fairy King). Nevermore defeated The Night Comes Down (66-19), but the QWC play-off place now lies in the hands of Flick Of The Wrist.
